PUBG developer Krafton announced that it was getting its hands dirty with NFTs and metaverse shenanigans last year, and it looks like its plans are coming to fruition. The metaverse platform, which has the working title Migaloo, is due to launch this year.
Like so many NFT and metaverse projects, the initial announcement was pretty vague, offering no real indication what prospective players could expect. Over a year later, and with its arrival on the horizon, nothing seems to have changed. I have no idea what Krafton, or its partner Naver Z, have in mind.

Everdream Valley has just announced its May 30 release date with a new trailer showing off its crops, livestock, critters, and cooking. That all sounds like standard farm sim fare, but there’s a twist: when you go to sleep you’ll transform into an animal yourself.
In Everdream Valley you’ll decorate and design your grandparents’ homestead, plant crops, catch bugs, fish, and take care of a lot of livestock. Some Fortnite players are starting to lose their patience with the airbending mythic, as it’s become a recipe for disaster in the late stages of the battle royale game (via CharlieIntel). The new mythic that was introduced for the Avatar event basically just lets people race around in a wheel of air.
This may sound fun, and it is, but it’s also a real pain to play against. People with the airbending mythic are faster than you, can jump into the air with ease, and just have pretty great overall mobility. It not only makes them a difficult target to hit but can also transform you into a sitting duck pretty quickly, as there’s no way to get them out of the sky (except by shooting, of course).
